Silická ladnica ice cave is a deep cave situated in the Slovenske Rudohorie Mts., geomorphological whole Slovak karst and subwhole the Silicka planina Plateau. Is located near the village of Silica, 22 km from the city of Roznava.
The great portal of the sheer passage opens an large ice chamber with a sinking glacier and ice stalactites.
The glaciation of the entrance chasm is very young phenomenon what was happened by the roof falling around two thousand years ago. The Silicka ladnica Ice Cave is a static ice cave with the maximum volume of the floor ice about 340 m3. The cave continues along the underground stream Cierny potok by a sequence of the shallow siphons alternated large domes.
Entrance of the Silicka ladnica Ice Cave lies on 503 m above sea level. The cave is 1100 m long and 110 m deep. Before the Ice Age cave was inhabited more than once. The archaeological dating to the Neolithic, Bronze Age and La Tene Culture (the Late Iron Age).
The cave is freely accessible through the marked tourist route which is from the parking entrance of the village of Silica.
This national natural monument since 1995 is also on the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Zla Diera cave in the local dialect it is known as ZLA DŽURA is situated in in mountain chain of Branisko, near Lipovce village.
Its open very day from May until October. Out of season only after an agreement with the manager Rudolf Kosc of the Slovak Speleological Society of Presov.

It is located in Bojnice and is part of Bojnice castle. The castle tour also includes a visit to the cave. The castle is open daily except Mondays.

It is situated in the Roznava province, in the zone called Krasna Horka. Krásnohorská Cave appears in the Guinness Book of Records, as it contains the biggest stalagmite in the world, which is 32,6 m high.

The cave is situated in the Važecký Karst at the western border of Vazec, between the two towns Liptovsky Mikulas and Poprad. It is not of large dimensions, but it is rich of stalactites with different decorations and colors. It was discovered in 1922 and in 1954 was illuminated with electric light. For the first time it was opened to the public in 1928. Its length is 530 m, of whom 235 m are accessible. The air temperature of the cave is between 7,1 and the 7,5°C, the relevant humidity is 94 - 96%.
The underground spaces od the cave are decorate with the stalactites, the stalagmites and small lakes, the formations formed by the water, by the wind and stones. Also here the spaces have a different name, like for example the Ossuary, the Corridor of Soil and the Charming Garden.
In past, to the inside of the cave, the cave’s bear lived, it is testified by the enormous quantity of bone found there. They were exceptional animals and their height reached until 3 m and the their weight was of 800-900 kg. Today inside the cave live a different sort of bats.
