International folklore festival Myjava
The International Folklore Festival in Myjava is a weekend full of dancing, music and folklore traditions. The festival’s 57th edition will take place from June 17-19 in Trnovce
and in the town centre of Myjava. The Myjava Festival is rightly considered to be one of the biggest folklore festivals in all of Slovakia, together with Detva and Východná. The programme will include more than 1,500 performers from around the world. For three days, Myjava will become a centre of folklore and offer audiences nearly 40 scenic and non-scenic programmes intended for all ages.

Dominika Cibulková's records a life achievement after defeating German Angelique Kerber. Dominika Cibulková is the winner of the WTA Finals in Singapore. She beat her opponent, number one in the world ranking, Angelique Kerber, in two sets 6:3, 6:4. The match lasted 77 minutes.
