The region of the Highs Tatras, of the folk architecture well preserved and of the gothic Spis is situated in the north-east part of Slovakia. From north it confines with Poland and from east with Ukraine. The Presov region is rich of flora, fauna, extraordinary natural beauties and of historical monuments. The metropolis of the largest region in Slovakia is the town Presov with the 92 000 inhabitants. The region has the following 13 provinces: Presov, Bardejov, Humenne, Kezmarok, Levoca, Medzilaborce, Poprad, Sabinov, Stara Lubovna, Stropkov, Svidnik a Vranov nad Toplou.

The tourist attractions of the region:
the historical and cultural monuments of the town and its provinces; the National Park of High Tatras; the Gothic route of Gemer - Spis; the monuments protected by UNESCO - the town Bardejov, the Spis castle and surroundings; the wooden churches in the region; the Museum of Andy Warhol; the Carthusian monastery of Cerveny Klastor where it is the possibility of rafting on the river Dunajec, the Stara Lubovna castle with Open-air museum, the Bardejov Spa with Open-air museum.
